This module is a direct replacement for the Cisco SFP-10G-ZR, providing a high-performance alternative for metropolitan area networks (MANs) and long-haul data center interconnects (DCI). It enables reliable 10Gbps data transmission over single-mode fiber (SMF) for distances that far exceed standard SFP+ reach.

Operating at a 1550nm wavelength, this transceiver is capable of reaching distances up to 80 kilometers (49.7 miles). It utilizes a duplex LC connector, ensuring compatibility with industry-standard fiber patch cables.
