Overview :

The StarTech MASFP10GBLR is a 10 Gigabit SFP+ transceiver engineered for long-range fiber connectivity in enterprise and data center networks. It is used by network engineers to extend uplinks between switches, routers, and aggregation layers over single-mode fiber where copper or short-range optics are not viable.

This module supports 10GBASE-LR operation at 1310 nm over single-mode fiber, delivering up to 10 km transmission distance with full 10 Gbps throughput. It includes Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM) for real-time optical performance tracking and operates with low power consumption (<1.2W), making it suitable for dense switching environments.

Designed for Cisco Meraki compatibility, it is fully programmed and tested for seamless integration with supported switches and routers. The hot-swappable SFP+ form factor allows live installation or replacement without network downtime.

It is ideal for long-distance backbone links and campus interconnects. It should not be used for multimode fiber or short-range SR applications where different optics are required.
