This transceiver operates at a 1310nm wavelength and supports distances of up to 300 meters using LC-terminated fiber cabling. It is built to meet or exceed OEM specifications and complies with Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) standards, ensuring seamless integration and performance parity with original hardware. The module is fully programmable and undergoes rigorous testing for host compatibility and signal integrity in enterprise-grade data centers and wiring closets.

As a "plug-and-play" component, the JL563A-ST allows for network expansion or maintenance without system downtime. It is ideal for high-speed server-to-switch uplinks and storage area network (SAN) applications. It is not compatible with single-mode fiber (SMF) or 1Gbps-only SFP ports.
