Overview

The HPE P9H30-63001 is a hot-pluggable SFP+ optical transceiver module engineered for 32 Gb/s Fibre Channel fabrics in enterprise SAN environments. It operates at short-wavelength (approx. 850 nm) over multimode fibre, supports link distances up to 100 m on OM4 MMF and up to around 70 m on OM3 MMF, making it well suited for data-centre switch-to-switch or array interconnects. The duplex LC connector ensures compatibility with standard fibre cabling systems, while the SFP+ form-factor allows insertion into the SFP+ slot of storage switches, HBAs or array controllers. It is designed for low-latency, high-throughput SAN traffic, and supports digital diagnostic monitoring (DDM) to provide real-time optical and electrical parameter read-outs. The module fits into blade, rack or converged infrastructure deployments requiring dense 32 Gb/s Fibre Channel links and high serviceability.
