Operating at 850 nm wavelength, this plug-and-play LC modulesupports data rates up to 14.025 Gbps and is backward-compatible with 8 Gb and 4 Gb Fibre Channel, making it ideal for infrastructure migrations. With support for digital diagnostics monitoring (DDM/DOM) and multi-source compliant design, this module delivers consistent performance over multimode fiber with a reach of up to 100 m using OM3/OM4 cabling.

E7Y10A supports 16G Fibre Channel (4.25–14.025 Gbps) over multimode fiber using VCSEL optics. Its LC duplex connector and SFF‑8431/8432 and FC‑PI‑5 compliance ensures wide compatibility across HPE B‑Series SAN backbones and HBA interfaces. Integrated DDM/DOM facilities enable administrators to monitor optical link parameters like TX/RX power, voltage, and temperature in real time, facilitating proactive diagnostics and maintenance. Powered via +3.3 V and operating safely within 0 °C to 70 °C, this module is hot-pluggable for ease of installation in standard enterprise environments.
