The StarTech BNDTB310GNDP is a high-performance external networking solution that combines a Thunderbolt 3 PCIe expansion chassis with a dual-port 10Gbase-T network interface card. This system is engineered for power users, engineers, and IT professionals who require server-grade 10Gbps connectivity on Thunderbolt 3 equipped laptops or small form factor workstations that lack internal expansion slots.

The integrated NIC utilizes the Intel X550 chipset, supporting advanced features such as Intel Virtualization Technology (VT-c), PXE network boot, and 9K Jumbo Frames. By leveraging the 40Gbps bandwidth of Thunderbolt 3, the device maintains full 10Gbps throughput on both ports simultaneously without bottlenecking the host system’s PCIe bus.

Housed in a rugged aluminum and steel enclosure, the chassis includes a secondary Thunderbolt 3 port for daisy-chaining up to five additional devices and a dedicated DisplayPort output for an external 4K 60Hz monitor.
