The Eaton E2MTHDI EnviroSense2 is a compact, intelligent environmental sensor module designed to provide crucial real-time monitoring of IT infrastructure conditions. This device integrates seamlessly with Tripp Lite LX Platform network cards and compatible uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and power distribution units (PDUs), enhancing their environmental oversight capabilities. Its primary purpose is to safeguard critical equipment by continuously tracking ambient temperature and humidity, two key factors that directly impact the longevity and performance of IT assets. Engineered for precision, the E2MTHDI module features advanced sensing technology for accurate temperature and humidity readings. This dual-input design provides comprehensive situational awareness, logging events directly into the PowerAlert Device Manager interface of the connected LX Platform device. Deployment of the E2MTHDI is straightforward and flexible, ideal for server rooms, network closets, and data centers. Its magnetic mounting capability allows for easy, tool-less attachment to most racks and cabinets, while a built-in retention harness ensures secure cable connections and reduces clutter. For expanded monitoring, up to three EnviroSense2 modules can be daisy-chained together, providing comprehensive coverage across different areas of a rack or multiple racks from a single LX Platform connection. The module connects via an included 3-foot USB cable to its host device, simplifying installation and management within existing IT environments.
