Overview

The HPE S0U66A is a modular line card for the Aruba CX 5420 chassis, providing 16 RJ‑45 Smart‑Rate ports that support 1 Gb, 2.5 Gb, and 5 Gb speeds, plus Class‑6 PoE. This module is designed for access-layer environments where multi‑gig speeds are needed but full 10 Gb is not, and where connected devices require moderate-to-high PoE power (e.g. modern APs, phones, high-powered IoT). It plugs into the CX 5420 chassis, running on AOS‑CX, giving you full Layer‑3 routing, VSX, network automation, and high availability support. The module is supported on AOS‑CX from version 10.15.0001 onward.
