The Eaton Tripp Lite Series DB9 serial adapter is a compact RS-232 interface connector engineered to change the gender of existing DB9 serial cables and ports or bridge connections between mismatched DB9 hardware. Designed for data centers, industrial automation environments, server rooms, and IT serial management setups, it ensures reliable communication between serial peripherals and host controllers.

Featuring a standard DB9 male connector on one end and a DB9 female connector on the other, this straight-through pass-through adapter maintains signal integrity across all 9 pins without signal loss. It is ideal for extending DB9 serial cables, connecting serial terminal servers to UPS network management cards, or configuring console ports on network switches and routers.

Deployable across server racks, manufacturing control panels, laboratory instrumentation, and legacy computing systems. Fully shielded against EMI/RFI interference to prevent data corruption during high-speed serial transmissions. Do NOT use for crossover null modem requirements without verifying pinout configuration; this is a straight-through pin-to-pin adapter.
