Overview:

The Eaton SUPER6TEL12 / Tripp Lite Protect It! is a 7-outlet surge protector designed to protect computers, routers, networking equipment, laboratory equipment, home-theater components and other sensitive electronics from AC power surges, spikes and line noise. It provides seven NEMA 5-15R outlets from a 120V electrical service.

The unit provides 1080 joules of AC surge suppression with a 12-ft power cord and a right-angle NEMA 5-15P input plug. Five outlets are arranged in a standard row, while two side-mounted outlets provide additional spacing for bulky transformer-style plugs.

The Eaton Tripp Lite surge protector includes single-line RJ11 telephone/DSL protection, protecting compatible modem or telephone equipment against dataline surges. Integrated EMI/RFI filtering provides up to 20 dB of noise suppression, while a resettable 15A circuit breaker provides overload protection.

A built-in diagnostic LED confirms that surge protection is present, and integrated keyhole mounting slots allow the SUPER6TEL12 to be mounted on a wall or other suitable surface. Eaton specifies UL 1449, UL Listed, cUL and CSA certifications for the product.
