APC PNETR6 – Ethernet Surge Module

Overview :

The APC PNETR6 is a field-replaceable surge protection module for protecting Ethernet lines (Cat5e/6) against transient surges. IT staff and network engineers use it to safeguard switches, routers, and edge devices from electrical spikes. It supports data rates up to 10 GbE and is compatible with Power over Ethernet (PoE). It is designed for installation in APC’s PRM series rack chassis (PRM4 or PRM24) in networking closets, data center racks, or telecom rooms. It can be managed or replaced via standard rack-module procedures.
