Detailed Specifications

Overview

The Ubiquiti USL-RELAY-US is a compact SuperLink relay designed to integrate third-party sensors and signaling devices with UniFi Protect. It provides wireless SuperLink connectivity together with two signal inputs and two relay outputs for flexible control and monitoring applications.

This US version operates on the SuperLink wireless band of 915.6–927.6 MHz and supports a maximum SuperLink range of up to 2 km (1.2 mi) under line-of-sight conditions. A SuperLink Gateway is required for operation.

I/O and Relay Functions

The USL-RELAY-US provides two dry-contact signal inputs, I1 and I2. The inputs detect open or short-to-ground states and include integrated 5V TVS protection.

Two relay outputs, O1/COM/O2, provide dry-contact switching. Each port supports 12–48V DC or 12–240V AC at up to 10A per port. Ubiquiti specifies a total maximum of 12A for UL applications and 16A under IEC specifications.

Power and Connectivity

The relay is powered through its VDD/GND terminals using 12–48V DC, with a maximum supported voltage of 48V. Integrated over-temperature protection activates at 85°C (185°F). Communication uses Ubiquiti's proprietary SuperLink wireless technology.

Installation and Construction

The compact enclosure measures 50 x 47.6 x 28 mm and weighs 100 g. The unit supports adhesive, wall, and DIN rail mounting. Both the enclosure and mounting material are polycarbonate.

Key Features

  • Proprietary SuperLink wireless connectivity for UniFi Protect
  • Two dry-contact signal inputs with 5V TVS protection
  • Two dry-contact relay outputs rated up to 10A per port
  • 12–48V DC power input with over-temperature protection
  • Adhesive, wall, and DIN rail mounting options

Applications

The USL-RELAY-US is intended for integrating compatible third-party sensors, switches, and signaling devices into UniFi Protect deployments. Its dual inputs and relay outputs can be used where wireless monitoring or switching is required without running a dedicated signal cable back to the gateway.

DC Supplies Product Note

The USL-RELAY-US is the US-frequency variant of the SuperLink Relay. Because the relay requires a SuperLink Gateway and uses separate DC power terminals rather than PoE, the gateway and an appropriate 12–48V DC power source should be accounted for when planning the installation.
