Overview :

The Epson SPECTRO17UVS SpectroProofer UVS is a 17-inch inline spectrophotometer developed for automated color calibration, proof verification, and profiling workflows in professional graphics and prepress environments. Designed in collaboration with X-Rite, the unit integrates directly with supported Epson SureColor printers to streamline color-critical production processes and reduce manual measurement operations.

The device supports automated inline measurement using selectable M0, M1, and M2 illumination standards for compliance with modern proofing and print validation requirements. Integrated operation improves repeatability and measurement consistency across commercial proofing, photography, packaging, and graphic arts production environments.

The SpectroProofer includes black and white backing plates along with an integrated print dryer to improve measurement stability and workflow efficiency. It is designed for use with RIP-managed production systems and supports integration with major workflow software platforms including EFI, GMG, AGFA, Fuji, and CGS color management environments.

The unit is intended for color-managed Epson SureColor proofing workflows requiring automated spectrophotometer integration. It is not suitable as a standalone handheld measurement device or for unsupported printer platforms without compatible RIP and printer integration support.
