Overview :

The Epson SPECTRO44UVS SpectroProofer UVS is a 44-inch inline spectrophotometer designed for automated color management and proofing workflows in professional large-format printing environments. Developed jointly with X-Rite, it integrates directly with supported Epson SureColor P-Series printers to automate color calibration, profiling, and verification tasks within production workflows.

The unit supports software-selectable M0, M1, and M2 illumination conditions for advanced color measurement standards compliance across commercial proofing and graphics production applications. Automated inline measurement reduces manual intervention, improves color consistency, and accelerates proof verification in high-volume print environments.

Built for professional RIP-driven production environments, the SpectroProofer integrates with supported third-party workflow systems including EFI, GMG, AGFA, Fuji, and CGS. It includes interchangeable black and white backing plates along with an integrated print dryer to improve reading accuracy and shorten measurement cycles.

The device is intended for color-critical proofing, photography, fine art, and commercial graphics production workflows using compatible Epson SureColor printers. It is not suitable for standalone spectrophotometer applications or unsupported printer platforms without compatible workflow RIP integration.
