LONG DESCRIPTION
The APC SMT3000RM2UC Smart-UPS is a 2880VA/2700W line-interactive uninterruptible power supply designed to provide reliable backup power and voltage regulation for servers, storage systems, network equipment, business VoIP systems, and other critical IT infrastructure.
This exact SMT3000RM2UC model is a 2U rackmount UPS designed for 120V electrical environments. It provides six NEMA 5-15R and two NEMA 5-20R output outlets, with all eight outlets providing battery backup and surge protection. The unit uses a NEMA L5-30P input connection and an 8-foot power cord.
Line-interactive operation with Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) helps correct certain utility-voltage fluctuations without unnecessarily switching to battery power. During battery operation, the UPS provides pure sine wave output for connected equipment.
The SMT3000RM2UC includes APC SmartConnect Ethernet connectivity for cloud-based remote power monitoring, along with USB and serial communications for compatible UPS management and graceful shutdown. A SmartSlot expansion interface and LCD status display are also included.
The UPS uses a hot-swappable, user-replaceable sealed lead-acid battery and supports the APC RBC43 replacement battery cartridge. Runtime is approximately 2.8 minutes at full load and 10.8 minutes at half load, depending on operating conditions and connected load.
