Overview :

The APC SRT2200RMXLA is a rack-mount double-conversion online uninterruptible power supply designed to deliver conditioned power and battery backup for critical IT infrastructure operating in a 120V electrical environment. It is deployed by data center engineers, network administrators, and infrastructure teams responsible for maintaining uptime for servers, storage systems, and network switching equipment. The UPS isolates connected loads from voltage fluctuations, frequency instability, and power outages while maintaining continuous sine-wave output for sensitive electronic equipment.

The unit provides 2200VA / 1800W output capacity using an online double-conversion topology that continuously converts incoming AC power to DC and then back to regulated AC output. This architecture eliminates transfer time during power interruptions and ensures stable voltage for connected systems. Input power is supplied through a NEMA 5-20P connector, and the UPS distributes protected power through six NEMA 5-20R outlets and one NEMA L5-20R outlet, enabling multiple rack devices to be powered from a single UPS platform.

Within infrastructure deployments, the system occupies 2U of rack space in a standard 19-inch cabinet, allowing integration directly into server racks located in branch data centers, IDF or MDF network closets, and edge compute environments. A common deployment scenario includes a branch infrastructure rack hosting virtualization servers and storage arrays where conditioned 120V rack power is required. The UPS maintains stable output during utility disturbances and provides several minutes of runtime to allow graceful system shutdown or generator switchover.

This UPS is not suitable for installations requiring 208V or 240V rack power distribution, or facilities using L6-series connectors typically found in higher-voltage data center power ecosystems.
