Overview :

The APC SRT5KRMXLI is a 5 kVA/4.5 kW double-conversion on-line uninterruptible power supply (UPS) designed to provide continuous, conditioned AC power and outage protection for critical IT, networking, and industrial equipment in 230 V environments. It is deployed by infrastructure and data center engineers, network administrators, and systems architects to maintain uptime and clean power delivery for servers, storage arrays, communication systems, and virtualization platforms with zero transfer time.

This UPS delivers 5 kVA/4.5 kW output capacity with a pure sine-wave waveform and tight voltage and frequency regulation under load. Its built-in bypass supports maintenance and overload conditions without interrupting loads. Integrated network management with SmartSlot and remote monitoring capabilities enable centralized control and alerting.

Physically, the unit occupies 3U rack space with included rail hardware and is convertible between rack and tower configurations to fit standard 19″ cabinets or flexible infrastructure layouts. The LCD interface provides local status and configuration feedback.

Battery management uses sealed lead-acid (VRLA) technology with hot-swappable cartridges to minimize maintenance downtime. Runtime at full load is on the order of minutes, and endurance can be scaled with external battery packs when longer backup durations are needed.

A practical deployment example is protecting a 230 V server rack in a small-to-medium enterprise data closet supporting network and compute assets, ensuring power continuity during utility disturbances until generators or extended battery systems take over. This UPS is not intended as a standalone generator substitute and requires appropriate upstream power planning.
