Overview :

The APC SRT10KRMXLT is a 10 kVA (10 kW) double‑conversion on‑line UPS designed to maintain continuous AC power to critical IT, networking, storage, and industrial loads during utility power anomalies and outages. Deployed by data center engineers, network architects, and facilities technicians, it isolates connected equipment from sags, surges, and frequency variations to prevent downtime and data loss.

This unit delivers 10 000 VA / 10 000 W capacity with true double‑conversion online topology and pure sine wave output, ensuring consistent conditioned power regardless of input quality. Nominal output is 208 V, and the integrated internal bypass allows load support even if UPS electronics require maintenance or servicing.

Physically, the UPS occupies 6U of rack space and includes a rack/tower convertible chassis with mounting rails, making it suitable for telecommunications closets, enterprise IDF/MDF racks, edge data centers, and central server rooms where space efficiency and high power density are required.

Management and monitoring are provided through an embedded network management interface, SmartSlot, USB, and optional accessory cards, enabling remote telemetry, SNMP integration, and automated shutdown through PowerChute Network Shutdown software.

In practice, this UPS is deployed to sustain critical workloads during brief outages, bridging utility failures until standby generators or alternate sources take over. It supports external battery expansion with up to ten external battery packs for extended runtime demands.
