The APC SRYL5K15RMXLT Smart-UPS Modular Ultra is an on-line uninterruptible power supply (UPS) engineered for high-density power protection in edge computing sites and medium-density data centers. It addresses the critical need for reliable, scalable power in a compact footprint, delivering 5kW of output in a 9U rack-mountable chassis. This system is designed to ensure business continuity for critical servers, storage, and network infrastructure by providing clean, consistent power. This UPS leverages next-generation semiconductor technology and a modular architecture to achieve 2.5 times the power density of comparable VRLA-based systems, making it significantly smaller and lighter. The core of its long-term value is the use of Lithium-ion batteries, which offer an operational life of up to 10 years×three times that of traditional batteries. This drastically reduces the total cost of ownership by minimizing battery replacement and associated maintenance costs over the unit's lifespan.
