Overview

The APC SMX750I is a standalone tower uninterruptible power supply designed to provide battery‑backed power protection and voltage regulation for small IT systems and network equipment. It is typically deployed by IT administrators and infrastructure technicians to safeguard standalone servers, workstations, switches, routers, and other rack or desktop electronics against power outages, voltage sags, surges, and electrical noise. The UPS maintains stable AC output during utility disturbances and provides sufficient runtime to perform controlled shutdowns during extended power loss events.

This system delivers 750VA / 450W output capacity using a line‑interactive architecture with pure sine wave output. Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) corrects high and low voltage conditions without switching to battery operation, helping to extend the life of the battery during normal power fluctuations. The UPS operates in 120V power environments and connects to facility power via a standard NEMA 5‑15P input. Power is provided to connected equipment through a set of six NEMA 5‑15R battery‑backed outlets.
