Overview

The APC SRTL180RM2UBP is a double‑conversion online uninterruptible power supply designed to deliver continuous conditioned power to critical IT equipment. It is typically deployed by infrastructure engineers and data center technicians protecting servers, storage systems, network switches, and virtualization hosts that require uninterrupted AC power. The online topology ensures that connected loads receive power from the inverter at all times, eliminating transfer events during utility irregularities such as brownouts, surges, and outages.

This model provides 1800VA / 1620W output capacity with pure sine wave output suitable for enterprise power supplies using active power factor correction. The system is designed for 120V AC power environments and hardwired or plug‑in input options may be supported depending on configuration. Multiple protected output connections supply conditioned power to downstream IT infrastructure.

The UPS is engineered for installation in standard 19‑inch server racks, occupying 2U of rack height. This rack footprint allows integration with server, storage, and networking equipment in cabinet environments such as IDF closets, branch offices, and small data centers. Optional external battery modules can be added to extend runtime for longer outage support.

Management and monitoring are supported through integrated network management capabilities along with local display interfaces. This UPS is not intended for desktop workstations or home office applications where lower capacity UPS systems are more appropriate.
