Overview
The Ubiquiti UP-SENSE-3 is a three-pack of UniFi Protect All-In-One Sensors designed to monitor motion, door and window activity, garage doors, environmental conditions, ambient light, alarm sounds, and water. Each sensor operates on a CR123A lithium battery and communicates through Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).
UP-Sense units integrate with UniFi Protect and can connect through a compatible UniFi SuperLink or Bluetooth-enabled UniFi Access Point. This allows sensor events and environmental readings to be monitored and managed through the UniFi Protect web application or mobile app.
Sensor Functions
Each UP-Sense combines several detection functions in one compact enclosure. The motion sensor detects movement at distances up to 5 m (16 ft). A magnetic entry sensor detects door or window open/close activity, while an accelerometer can detect garage door open/close movement.
