Overview

The Ubiquiti UP‑SENSE is a battery‑powered multifunction sensor designed to work with UniFi Protect and Bluetooth‑enabled UniFi access points. It combines motion detection, environmental sensing, door/window state sensing, and sound detection into one compact device to monitor physical activity and ambient conditions. The sensor communicates over Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE 5.0) to supported APs, making it suitable for indoor deployment in offices, entryways, server rooms, or common areas. Powered by a CR123A lithium battery, it can operate for up to one year, reducing maintenance. Events and sensor data integrate into the UniFi Protect interface for centralized alerts and environment monitoring.
