The primary function of these modules is to convert electrical signals from a switch or router into optical signals for transmission over single-mode fiber optic cable, extending network reach far beyond the limitations of traditional copper wiring. Each module in the pack is fully compliant with the Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) Multi-Source Agreement (MSA), ensuring broad compatibility with a wide range of networking equipment.
