It solves the common challenge of extending network reach beyond the limitations of standard copper cabling by utilizing fiber optic technology. This transceiver leverages Bi-Directional (BiDi) Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) technology, which allows for the transmission and reception of data over a single fiber strand.
