The TRENDnet TEG-10GBRJ is a 10G RJ-45 Copper SFP+ transceiver module designed to add high-speed copper connectivity to network switches and fiber media converters with an open, MSA-compliant SFP+ slot. Its primary purpose is to provide a cost-effective and flexible solution for network engineers to utilize existing infrastructure, converting an unused fiber slot into a multi-gigabit copper port. This SFP+ module leverages 10GBASE-T technology to support data rates up to 10Gbps over Cat6a or Cat7 cabling at distances up to 30 meters.
