The Aruba JL308A is a QSFP+ bidirectional optical transceiver engineered for 40 Gbps Ethernet over duplex multimode fiber. By encoding two separate 20 Gbps channels on distinct  wavelengths across a single duplex LC pair, it enables 40 Gbps links with existing cabling—reducing stranded fibers compared to standard SR4 modules

Features

This BiDi transceiver utilizes two wavelengths—850 nm and 900 nm—with each fiber strand simultaneously carrying both transmit and receive signals.
