Overview

The SonicWall 01-SSC-9791 is a copper SFP transceiver module designed for 1 Gbps (1000BASE-T) over twisted-pair cabling. It fits into SFP slots on SonicWall devices (or compatible gear) to provide RJ-45 (copper) connectivity over standard Cat5/Cat5e/Cat6 cables. With a maximum reach of 100 meters, the module is useful when you want gigabit connectivity without needing fiber. It’s hot-swappable, low-power, and supports auto-negotiation for 10/100/1000 Mbps, making it a flexible and economical choice in many network designs.
