Overview :
The NETGEAR GS516UP is a 16-port unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet switch designed for deployments requiring network connectivity and high-power PoE from a single device. It provides 8 PoE+ ports and 8 PoE++ ports with a total 380W PoE budget.
All 16 RJ-45 ports support 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet. The PoE++ ports support up to 60W per port, while the PoE+ ports support up to 30W per port, making the switch suitable for wireless access points, IP cameras, IP phones, and other standards-based powered devices.
The switch uses a non-blocking architecture and supports desktop or rackmount deployment. It is appropriate for small data-center, branch, surveillance, and edge-network installations where plug-and-play PoE connectivity is required.
As an unmanaged switch, it is not intended where VLAN configuration, advanced traffic management, centralized switching policies, or other managed-network functions are required.
