NETGEAR DRV-XSM4340CV-36 Managed PoE Switch
Overview
The NETGEAR XSM4340CV, also designated M4350-36X4V, is a fully managed Layer 3 switch for high-bandwidth AV-over-IP and enterprise network deployments. It provides 36 10G/Multi-Gig PoE++ ports and four 25G SFP28 uplinks.
The switch provides a 280W base PoE budget that can scale to 1,760W with a compatible modular power supply. Each of the 36 PoE++ ports supports up to 90W, while the four SFP28 ports provide 10G/25G connectivity.
Its 1U rackmount form factor and 400mm depth suit data-center racks, AV infrastructure, and enterprise access/core deployments where high-speed PoE and 25G uplinks are required. Virtual Chassis stacking supports non-stop forwarding and hitless failover.
The XSM4340CV supports compatible NETGEAR APS600Wv3, APS1200Wv2, and APS2000Wv2 modular power supplies. It is not the appropriate choice where only basic Gigabit access switching is required or where 10G/Multi-Gig PoE++ and 25G uplinks are unnecessary.
