Overview

NETGEAR XSM7224L-10000S is a Layer 3 Upgrade License for the XSM7224S 24-port 10 Gigabit Stackable L2+ Managed Switch. The license upgrades the compatible switch with advanced Layer 3 routing capabilities.

With the license installed, the XSM7224S supports IPv4/IPv6 dynamic routing, RIP, OSPF, VRRP, and multicast routing. These capabilities support enterprise core, aggregation, and converged network deployments.

This is a software license rather than physical networking hardware. It requires a compatible NETGEAR XSM7224S and should not be purchased as a standalone switch or hardware module.
