Overview
NETGEAR AX743-10000S is a ProSafe 10 Gigabit SFP+ adapter module designed for compatible NETGEAR M5300 Series switches. It installs in a rear I/O module bay to provide a 10 Gigabit SFP+ interface for fiber connectivity and compatible direct-attach copper cables.
The module provides one 10 Gigabit SFP+ interface supporting 10GBase-X connectivity. NETGEAR specifies compatibility with standard 10 Gigabit SFP+ optics and direct-attach SFP+ cables, allowing the interface to be used for uplinks or distant stacking applications.
It is intended for compatible M5300-series switch deployments. It should not be treated as a standalone Ethernet adapter or installed in switches without a compatible rear I/O module bay. The AX743 product family is discontinued according to NETGEAR's EOL documentation.
