Overview

NETGEAR WMS105-10000S is the ProSafe 5 AP Wireless Management Software package. It provides centralized management for up to 5 supported NETGEAR wireless access points on a LAN. The software can discover access points, centralize RF management, streamline security configuration, and perform remote maintenance tasks.

WMS105 supports automatic and IP-based access-point discovery, centralized wireless configuration, security profiles, VLAN configuration, QoS/WMM, rogue access-point monitoring, syslog, NTP, remote management, and firmware upgrades for compatible access points.

This is software rather than physical network hardware, so physical dimensions, weight, power consumption, and rack form factor do not apply. It is intended for legacy NETGEAR ProSafe wireless deployments using supported access-point models and firmware.
