Network engineers and IT teams deploy this enterprise-grade edge router to deliver high-throughput WAN load balancing, failover redundancy, and ultra-low-latency routing across high-density SMBs, remote offices, and data center edge racks.

Equipped with dual 10G ports (1x 10G RJ45 and 1x 10G SFP+) alongside three 2.5G RJ45 ports, this unit supports high-speed ISP connections and LAN aggregation. Built-in dynamic VLAN routing, stateful firewall security, and IPSec VPN throughput handle encrypted site-to-site communication without creating performance bottlenecks.

Designed for standard 1U rackmount or desktop deployment, the PR460X is natively managed via the NETGEAR Insight Cloud platform for remote multi-site configuration and real-time network monitoring. The inclusion of the 60-month Sprint Support coverage ensures direct vendor engineering access and advance hardware replacement. Do not select this model if direct PoE power delivery to LAN endpoints is required without downstream PoE switches.
