Overview :

Xerox 097N02452 is an external print front-end controller powered by EFI Fiery (E500 series platform) designed specifically for commercial print operators, corporate marketing departments, and high-volume print production environments. It resolves performance bottlenecks associated with processing complex vector graphics, large variable data printing (VDP) runs, and high-resolution PDF files. By offloading heavy document rasterization directly from the engine to this dedicated, high-performance external processor, print environments can maintain maximum engine speed and throughput.

Technically, the print server is powered by an Intel Core i3-8100 processor running at 3.60 GHz, equipped with 4 GB of RAM and a dedicated 500 GB SATA hard disk drive for job spooling and caching. Built on a reliable Linux operating software platform, this controller features four high-speed USB 3.0 ports for fast local media inputs and direct server administration. The hardware leverages custom-designed file-compression algorithms to accelerate processing times and optimize system memory efficiency.

This front-end device is designed for space-efficient direct attachment deployment, mounting onto the rear of the device or sitting adjacent to the print engine within a corporate office, print center, or central production hub. It is strictly compatible with the Xerox PrimeLink C9065 and C9070 color multifunction printers. It should not be used as a standalone network server for unsupported printer lines or in low-volume standard office environments where a basic embedded controller is sufficient.
