Overview

The HPE 867446-S01 is a 1 U rack-mount server aimed at IT infrastructure teams deploying dense compute nodes in enterprise data-centres or branch locations. It arrives with a single Intel Xeon E5-2640 v4 (10-core at 2.4 GHz) processor and 16 GB of DDR4 SmartMemory, offering a solid foundation for virtualization, application hosting and service-oriented workloads. With support for a second processor socket and up to 3 TB of DDR4 memory (via factory-supported configuration), it accommodates scaling as load increases. The chassis houses eight 2.5-inch small form-factor hot-plug drive bays managed by an HPE Smart Array P440ar controller, allowing SAS/SATA storage flexibility and enterprise RAID options. Built-in HPE iLO remote management enables systems monitoring, firmware control and lifecycle automation, making this model suitable for deployment in high-density racks, campus core nodes or converged compute/storage nodes.
