Overview

The Eaton B078-101-USB-8 is a bundle of eight USB Server Interface Units (SIUs) intended for use by data-centre and network engineers deploying KVM switch setups that need to connect servers via USB and VGA ports to a Cat5e/6 based KVM switch. Each SIU converts the server’s USB and HD15 (VGA) ports into a single RJ45 output, enabling simplified cabling and remote access. It fits within infrastructure racks, server rooms or edge closets where multiple servers need centralized console access through a single KVM switch. The product requires no external power supply and plugs directly into the server, supporting distances up to 100 ft from the switch using Cat5e/6.
