Overview
The EATON B078-101-USB2 is a NetCommander USB Server Interface Unit (SIU) with Virtual Media support. It is designed to connect a USB server to a NetCommander Cat5 IP KVM switch using shielded Cat5e/6 cabling.
The unit supports Virtual Media data transfer rates up to 12 Mbps and allows a maximum recommended distance of 100 ft. (30.5 m) between the KVM switch and connected computer/server. It is bus-powered and does not require a separate power supply.
The B078-101-USB2 provides VGA video, USB keyboard/mouse connectivity and RJ45 connectivity to the KVM system. The package includes a 5-ft. (1.52 m) Cat5e shielded patch cable.
