Overview

The Eaton P404-006, from the Tripp Lite by Eaton product line, is a 6 ft. (1.83 m) AT Serial Modem Gold Cable designed to connect a computer with an available DB9 male serial port to a Hayes-compatible external modem with a DB25 female port.

The cable uses a DB9 female connector on Side A and DB25 male connector on Side B. Its molded construction includes built-in strain relief, while foil shielding provides EMI/RFI protection. Gold-plated connectors and gold-plated copper contacts provide enhanced conductivity.
