Overview

The Eaton U208-004-IND, from the Tripp Lite series, is an industrial-grade 4-port USB-to-serial adapter that connects four 9-pin serial devices to a computer or laptop through a USB Type-B interface. It provides four DB9 male serial ports and automatically detects and switches between RS-422 and RS-485 devices.

The adapter uses USB 2.0 with data transfer speeds up to 480 Mbps and supports serial communication up to 921.6 Kbps baud rate.
