The Ubiquiti UVC-G6-INS-W is the white UniFi G6 Instant, a compact 4K WiFi-connected security camera designed for flexible indoor and outdoor surveillance. It combines an 8MP image sensor, integrated AI processing, two-way audio, infrared night vision, and local microSD storage in a compact polycarbonate enclosure.
Imaging and Video
The G6 Instant captures 4K video at 3840 × 2160 resolution and up to 30 FPS using a 1/1.8-inch 8MP image sensor. Its fixed focal-length lens provides a 109.9° horizontal, 56.7° vertical, and 134.1° diagonal field of view.
AI Detection and Night Vision
The integrated Multi-TOPS AI engine supports face recognition, license plate recognition, and smart detections for people, vehicles, and animals. Built-in IR illumination provides night vision up to 6 m (20 ft), with an IR cut filter for day/night imaging.
Wireless Connectivity and Audio
The camera connects through 802.11a/b/g/n/ac WiFi and Bluetooth. Integrated two-way audio enables communication through the camera, while a MicroSD card slot provides local storage expansion.
Power and Installation
The UVC-G6-INS-W operates from 5V DC at 2A with a maximum power consumption of 7W. A 5V, 2A USB power adapter is included. A PoE-to-USB-C adapter can be used as an optional power method but is not included. A wall-mount accessory and 2 m USB Type-C cable are included.
