The SonicWall 02‑SSC‑8986 is the high‑availability (HA) version of the NSa 4700 next-generation firewall. It provides redundancy by pairing with a primary NSa 4700 unit in a 1U rack‑mount setup. This model is designed for enterprise environments that demand continuous security operations—if one firewall fails, the HA unit takes over without dropping sessions. Running SonicOS 7.0, it supports advanced threat prevention features like real‑time deep memory inspection, TLS 1.3 decryption, and cloud sandboxing, while delivering multi‑gigabit connectivity and SD‑WAN capabilities.
