Overview

The yealink ROOMPANEL PLUS E2 is an enterprise-grade 10.1-inch touch display engineered exclusively for modern workplace optimization and facility resource management. Positioned at the entryways of meeting rooms, huddle spaces, and boardrooms, this dedicated endpoint solves the operational friction of room double-bookings, unauthorized space usage, and inaccurate schedule tracking. The unit interfaces directly with centralized corporate calendar servers, providing real-time scheduling data at the physical point of entry.

Built on an Android 13 operating system, the panel incorporates high-visibility, full-RGB bilateral programmable LED bars on the chassis edges, providing immediate multi-angle identification of workspace availability from a distance. The interactive capacitive touchscreen enables personnel to execute spontaneous ad-hoc reservations, check in for scheduled sessions, or terminate bookings directly at the frame. Integrated Power over Ethernet (PoE) minimizes infrastructure deployment costs by routing power and administrative network data through a single RJ45 drop.

The hardware utilizes an array of embedded components including a 13.56MHz RFID/NFC reader for identity validation, dual microphone arrays, dual integrated speakers, and a user-facing 2MP camera. These elements enable automated tracking of meeting attendance, check-in enforcement via ID badges, and future authentication options. Built-in Time-of-Flight (TOF) proximity and ambient light sensors adapt the hardware to local environment variables, waking the screen when users approach and adjusting panel luminosity to save power.

For deployment execution, the hardware ships with a flexible suite of installation brackets that accommodate flush wall, glass, or architectural side-mullion mounting in either landscape or portrait orientations. Connection to external environmental triggers, such as standalone room occupancy sensors, allows the system to auto-release empty spaces if no presence is detected within a specified timeout parameter. Do not deploy this unit as a general-purpose smart-room controller or inside environments lacking an active Power over Ethernet source or 12V DC dedicated line.
