Overview   

The APC RBC124 is a sealed lead-acid battery cartridge engineered to restore or extend runtime in APC Smart-UPS and line-interactive UPS units that use a 24 V battery string. When your UPS runtime falls below acceptable thresholds (due to battery aging), swapping in an RBC124 returns it to factory performance. In real installations, it supports mid-sized server racks, network closets, storage arrays, and network equipment across branch and campus sites. The design is fully assembled and hot-swappable—no need to power down connected loads during replacement. This cartridge meets APC’s quality and safety standards to ensure consistent backup during outages.
