Overview   

The APC RBC8 is a hot-swappable replacement battery cartridge designed for Smart-UPS 1400VA rackmount models that need battery restoration without UPS downtime. This pre-assembled cartridge contains four 12V 7Ah sealed lead-acid batteries with all necessary connectors and internal fuses for plug-and-play installation in SU1400RM, SU1400RMNET, and related models. The RBC8 restores original runtime capacity to UPS systems protecting server rooms, network closets, and telecom equipment where batteries have degraded after 3-5 years of service. Hot-swap capability means you can replace the entire battery assembly during a maintenance window while keeping critical loads protected.
