Overview

The APC APCRBC115 is a sealed lead-acid replacement battery cartridge for select APC Smart-UPS models. IT administrators, network engineers, and data center personnel deploy this cartridge to maintain uninterrupted backup power for servers, storage systems, and network devices. The APCRBC115 ensures critical equipment continues operating during power outages and supports controlled shutdown procedures when the original UPS battery reaches end-of-life.

Each APCRBC115 unit delivers a nominal 12V DC output and supports hot-swappable replacement, allowing battery servicing without shutting down the UPS or connected devices. Compatible Smart-UPS units automatically detect the cartridge, integrating runtime monitoring, battery health reporting, and end-of-life alerts through the UPS management interface.

The cartridge is suitable for both rack-mounted and tower UPS deployments, typically installed in server rooms, branch office racks, or edge IT cabinets. Its compact form factor allows straightforward installation while maintaining proper airflow and clearance within the UPS chassis.
