The APC APCRBC159 is a sealed lead-acid replacement battery cartridge designed for select APC Smart-UPS models. This battery cartridge delivers a nominal 12V DC output and supports hot-swappable replacement, allowing battery servicing without shutting down the UPS or attached devices. Compatible Smart-UPS units automatically detect the cartridge upon installation, providing runtime monitoring, battery health status, and end-of-life alerts via the UPS management interface.

The APCRBC159 is suitable for rack-mounted or tower UPS deployments, typically in server rooms, branch office racks, or edge IT cabinets. Its compact form factor allows for easy insertion and secure connection within the UPS chassis, while maintaining adequate airflow and clearance.
