Overview

The Eaton SR42UBSD1032 is a 42U shallow-depth SmartRack enclosure engineered for secure deployment of network, AV, telecom, and shallow-depth server equipment in environments with limited floor space.

It is commonly installed in enterprise IT rooms, branch offices, education facilities, broadcast environments, and edge infrastructure deployments where standard-depth cabinets are impractical.

The enclosure features threaded 10-32 mounting rails with adjustable depth positioning, supporting secure installation of standard 19-inch rack equipment while simplifying repeatable rail alignment during deployment.

Its 32-inch cabinet depth supports compact equipment footprints while maintaining front-to-rear airflow for thermal management in high-density rack layouts. Locking front/rear doors and removable side panels provide physical security aligned with PCI DSS-oriented infrastructure requirements.

The cabinet ships fully assembled with integrated casters and leveling feet for rapid deployment. It is not intended for ultra-deep enterprise servers exceeding the supported internal mounting depth.
