The Eaton SRWF6U is a 6U vertical wall‑mount rack enclosure engineered to secure standard 19‑inch rack‑mount equipment in locations with limited floor space. Network and infrastructure technicians use it in wiring closets, back offices, retail IT closets, and compact communications rooms to mount switches, patch panels, UPS units, and similar gear vertically on a wall, reducing footprint while maintaining structured equipment access.

It provides 6U of usable EIA‑310 compliant vertical space and supports equipment mounting depths up to ~20 in (508 mm), accommodating typical network switches and shallow servers. Designed with rugged steel construction, it includes a slide‑out 2U patch panel bracket to simplify horizontal cabling termination above installed devices while maximizing usable patch space.

Physically, the SRWF6U mounts securely to wall structures and extends less than ~12 in (305 mm) from the wall, optimizing clearance in constrained spaces. Ventilation slots and front door airflow design assist passive heat dissipation from enclosed equipment, and adjustable vertical rails provide flexibility for depth alignment during installation.

Integration into facility infrastructure is straightforward: the cabinet arrives fully assembled with mounting hardware (M6 screws, cup washers, 12‑24 screws, and keys) and supports EIA standard mounting hardware and brackets, enabling consistent attachment of PDUs, network gear and cable management panels. The reversible lockable front door enhances physical security.

In practical deployment, this rack enclosure is ideal for consolidating network edge infrastructure (patch panels + PoE switches) in corridors, small server closets or branch offices where floor racks are impractical. This product should not be used where seismic or vibration bracing is required without additional engineered supports; mounting loads must be anchored to structural elements capable of bearing the full static load.
