Detailed Specifications
QNAP TS-873AeU-RP-4G-US - 2U Short-Depth NAS
Overview
The QNAP TS-873AeU-RP-4G-US is a professional-grade 2U short-depth rackmount NAS designed for space-constrained environments.Powered by an AMD Ryzen Embedded V1500B quad-core processor, it delivers enterprise-class performance for virtualization, centralized backup, and high-speed file sharing in a compact 11.7-inch chassis.
This unit features 8 hot-swappable drive bays and dual 2.5GbE connectivity, providing the throughput necessary for modern business workloads. It is specifically engineered for deployment in shallow-depth racks, wall-mount cabinets, or telecommunications closets where standard full-sized rackmount servers cannot fit, solving the problem of high-density storage in limited square footage.
The "RP" designation signifies the inclusion of dual 300W redundant power supplies, ensuring maximum system uptime for mission-critical applications. With integrated M.2 NVMe SSD slots for cache acceleration and a PCIe Gen 3 x8 slot for 10GbE/25GbE expansion, the system is highly adaptable for evolving data requirements.
Do not use this short-depth NAS in environments without adequate ventilation, as the compact 2U form factor relies on high-velocity cooling fans. Ensure that the total power draw of installed drives and expansion cards does not exceed the 300W PSU rating in N+1 configurations.
